Nagla  Orlando

First, I am a lifelong learner. If I'm not taking a class or attending a webinar, you will find me giving a presentation, creating new educational material for students, parents, and counselors, or now teaching through UCLA extension. As an immigrant from Egypt, raised by parents who valued the importance of education, I'm dedicated to empowering students, particularly those from non-traditional backgrounds.

Founder of Knowledge Worx 4 College, Inc., I'm a retired California educator with expertise in Science. I've mentored thousands of students in leadership and personal growth through the Boomerang Project LINK Crew Initiative. I pride myself on creating positive working relationships with school counselors and prioritizing "student first" in my consulting practice. I have a BS in Health and Human Sciences from California State University, Long Beach, and also hold a California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science from CSULB, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from William Howard Taft University, College Counseling Certification from University of California, San Diego, and most recently I received the highly distinctive Certified Education Planner (CEP) from AICEP in 2022. It is an honor to be among a prestigious group of educational consultants and school counselors in the US and abroad to earn the designation of Certified Educational Planner (CEP).
