Our Approach

AI as a time-saver, not a decision-maker

We introduced AI into CounselMore for one focused purpose: to reduce manual data entry for counselors. Our AI functions as a transcription engine — it listens to voice input or reads an uploaded file and automatically populates the fields that already exist in your bio banners. The moment transcription is done, you are in complete control. The AI does not generate content on your behalf, shape your professional narrative, or make any decisions about your data.

Voice inputs are processed to generate a transcription and are not retained beyond what is required to complete that action. For complete detail on data retention, please review our Privacy Policy.
Every field populated by the AI is fully editable before you save. If the transcription misheard or misread something, correct it directly in the field. Nothing goes live without your confirmation.
Yes. AI transcription is a convenience feature. You can always type your bio banner information directly into the fields by hand, exactly as before this feature existed.
No. Your transcriptions are not used to train or improve AI models. The AI engine processes your input in the moment and does not retain it for model development. This is consistent with our Terms of Service, which explicitly states that CounselMore does not use User Content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
We use a best-in-class speech recognition API to power transcription. We regularly evaluate our technology partners and will update this page if that changes.
