How We Use AI
We believe you deserve a clear, plain-language explanation of how artificial intelligence touches your experience on our platform — what it does, what it doesn't, and why we built it this way.
AI as a time-saver, not a decision-maker
We introduced AI into CounselMore for one focused purpose: to reduce manual data entry for counselors. Our AI functions as a transcription engine — it listens to voice input or reads an uploaded file and automatically populates the fields that already exist in your bio banners. The moment transcription is done, you are in complete control. The AI does not generate content on your behalf, shape your professional narrative, or make any decisions about your data.
Voice or file in.
Your fields, filled.
Our transcription engine accepts voice recordings or uploaded files and maps the content directly to existing bio banner fields — things like your name, title, specialties, and contact details.
No AI is writing new content about you. No AI is making editorial choices. It is purely converting spoken or written input into structured fields — faster and with fewer errors than manual typing.
AI Does
- ✓ Transcribe voice recordings to text
- ✓ Read and parse uploaded files
- ✓ Map transcribed content to existing bio banner fields
- ✓ Handle a wide range of accents and speaking styles
AI Does Not
- ✕ Write or invent content about your clients
- ✕ Make editorial decisions about your student's bio
- ✕ Train on your data for future use
"AI should reduce friction, not introduce doubt — so we keep it narrow, transparent, and always under your control."— CounselMore Product Philosophy
