About Me

I'm an Independent Educational Consultant and the founder of Passion Prep College Advising. I specialize in working with students who are pursuing degrees in the performing arts. I love supporting students who have passion and determination for whatever they do. I've earned a Bachelor's degree from New York University's Steinhardt School, a Master's degree from George Fox University, and I am currently completing my Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, Los Angeles. I am also an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.

My inspiration to become an IEC comes from my own college application process. I remember vividly the stress of filling out applications and writing essays. And because I was a Musical Theatre applicant, I had all of the anxiety of auditions on top of that!

Today's high school students face an even more complex and stressful process, especially performing artists. I am here to open doors for them and to help them stay organized, motivated, and calm through the process of applying and auditioning for college programs. I want students and families to see performing arts in college as a viable and exciting path, whether or not the student has dreams of being a professional. Music, theater, and dance are vital parts of our culture, and I want to help the next generation of students learn, create, and thrive.
